Remember that show…that theme song is so catchy! I have it in my head, specially when I see this truck around town. George, the owner of the truck, uses this almost as a daily driver. I first caught a glimps of this truck about 4 months ago at the local Starbucks, where you will often see George and his Sanford and Son mobile. He also drives a very cool old Bug that will soon be photographed for “Whips”. I have been meaning to catch up with George for a few months to shoot him and his awesome vehicle for my personal project and yesterday was the day. If you go over to the Personal Projects and click on Whips you will see this new installment as well as past subjects.
Thank you for stopping by to checkout this post and keep coming back for more new work!
Here is a glimpse at one of my personal projects entitled “Whips”. I started this last fall because of a few reasons. First off, I love shooting cars and I haven’t done enough of it. I felt this was a good way to do more. Two, I know that most people have a love/hate relationship with their transportation. Some LOVE their ride, some HATE them. I am a JEEP man and I absolutely love Wranglers. I also know that other JEEP owners love their JEEP’s. So… I have set out to document this and I have three of my close friends in the project so far but hoping to keep adding more and more as time goes by.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out and if you are interested in being part of the project let me know. I would love to shoot and hear about it. It doesn’t have to be a JEEP, car or truck. If you ride a motorcycle or a bicycle or even a skateboard. Let’s shoot!
No not THE reeper, these little ATV/low speed vehicles are a must have…well in my opinion that is. Chesapeake Motor and Power Sports just opened up over on Chinqupin Road down the street from 1901 West. Kevin Cline is the man to go see about purchasing one of these. I call them the “Mini Me” of my Jeep Wrangler. Stop in and take a test drive!
